Day 1

Destinations:

Prambanan Temple as a First Destination for Yogyakarta Tour Package

Yogyakarta Tour package will start from hotel or airport, your guide and driver will escort you to Prambanan temple, and its Located 7 km from the Airport. Prambanan also known as candi Rara Jongrang, as lagendary miyth for local people. This Temple had been recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site since 1991. It is the largest, and grandest Hindu temple in Indonesia. Prambanan is included as the most beautiful temple in Southeast Asia, because the uniqueness of the architecture. The construction of temple began in 9th century. Restoration had been started since 1918. Some buildings have collapsed, but you still can enjoy the beauty of Prambanan Temple.

Malioboro street

Yogyakarta-Tour

Malioboro is central street of Yogyakarta Province, It is located in imagine line straight from Merapi, Tugu/monument of palputih, Kraton or Sultan’s Palace, Benteng krapiyak and Parang tritis south sea. The street is the center of Yogyakarta largest tourist district surrounded with many hotels, restaurants, and shops nearby. Sidewalks on both sides of the street are crowded with small stalls selling a variety of goods. In the evening several open-air street side restaurants, local people call it lesehan and angkringan. In this street, your guide will accompany to walk and explore the street and experience some local food while enjoying the night vibes in Malioboro street

Day 2

Merapi volcano tour

Drive to Merapi to take Jeep for Lava tour. Tourists are invited to ride Jeep along the former lava flow after the eruption of Merapi vulcano. Along the way, you will be accompany to visit several post eruption destinations, such as museum of Sisa hartaku, and Kaliadem Bunker. The tour is divided into three routes, namely short (1.5 hours), medium (2.5 hours), and long (4-5 hours).

Cycling From Pakem Village to Sambisari Temple

After a jeep trip in slope of Merapi volcano, your guide and driver will escort you to Merapi golf area as starting point for cycling tour. This section, you will cyling to Sambisari temple, crossing the the villages and rice field. On the way there, you are allowed to stop in some spot to get a picture of villages and the landscape. This tour will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive in Sambisari temple.

Candi Sambisari

Sambisari is a Hinduism temple located 2 km from Yogyakarta city. This temple was built around 9th century by Rakai Garung from old Mataram Kingdom. Based on the architecture and design, this temple was dedicated to Shiva. Sambisari temple was discover by a local farmer in 1966 and they found it 6,5 meters under the ground.

Day 3

Yogyakarta Tour Include Borobudur Sunrise

In the third day of your trip, the tour guide and driver will pick up you at 03:30 am from your Hotel to drive around 42 km to Borobudur temple. Borobudur temple not only offers the grandeur of the ancient building, and the uniqueness of architecture. But also a favorite place to watch the golden sunrise. Make sure you are in the right spot to see the beauty of sunrise. If you want to watch the golden sunrise, you should come at dawn. Because the entrance ticket to the spot is different from general visitors.

Morning coffee and Breakfas at Manohara Hotel. The best sunrise spot in Borobudur temple area is in Manohara Hotel. After enjoying the beauty of sunrise, you can get breakfast and a cup of hot coffee.

Visit Pawon and Mendut temple. The location of Pawon temple and Mendut temple are very close to Borobudur temple. Usually tourists will visit the three temples. Each temple has its own uniqueness. All these temples had been built since the 7 century. You are free to take pictures as sweet memories during the tour.

Candirejo Village tour

Candirejo is a village located 1 km from Borobudur temple, this village was developed by locals to became one of tourist attraction. In this tour, they will bring you around the village by Hors cart or bycicle to intoduce you the authentic local activities such as: farmers, how to make a chip from cassava, test some local snack made from sticky rice and play local music instrument (Gamelan). In this tour you will be very close to local people and get in touch with them on their farm of their house.

Day 4

Sultan’s Palace

In the morning after check out from Hotel, your guide and driver will drive you to Sultan’s Palace. This palace was built in 1755 by pangeran Mangkubumi. Physically, the palace has seven core complexes, namely Siti hinggil ler, Kamandungan ler, Sri Manganti, Kedhaton, Kamagangan, Kamandhungan kidul, and Siti Hinggil kidul. It also has various cultural heritages, such as traditional ceremonies and historic objects. This Palace is a cultural heritage that is protected by government. Everyone can visit it according to predetermined schedule. You are free to take pictures as memories. When you come at the right time, you can enjoy cultural performance.

Water castle or Taman sari

The Taman Sari water palace was built in 1758-1769 as the resting place of King, and the fortress. Portuguese architecture was applied, and combined with Javanese philosophy. The palace complex is not intact, because part of the building has collapsed. But you can still visit various exotic places, such as bathing pools, water canals, underground mosques and many more.

If you are heading south, you can find special place for the Sultan. Before heading off to war, Sultan will meditate in that place. Silent and tranquil atmosphere would you feel. War strategy planning and how to negotiate with the enemy also did by Sultan in this place.
