Day 1

  • Prambanan Temple

This temple is a biggest Hinduism temple located in Central java Indonesia and 15 km distance from city center of Jogjakarta. Prambanan Temple had been recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site since 1991. It is the largest, and grandest Hindu temple in Indonesia. Prambanan is included as the most beautiful temple in Southeast Asia, because the uniqueness of the architecture. The construction of temple began in 9th century. Restoration had been started since 1918. Some buildings have collapsed, but you still can enjoy the beauty of Prambanan Temple.

  • Plaosan Temple

Plaosan Temple is a complex of Buddhism located in plaosan village. This temple has two twin main temple, dedicated for a Woman and Men. The unique part of the temple is relierf depecting on the wall of each temple are more detail and soft than any other temple that was built in same time, about 9th century. Plaosan temple has 115 solid stupa and 50 perwara temple. Besides all of the things above, this temple architecture more influence by Hinduism style, because the king who built the temple (Rakai pikatan) was from Hinduism dinasty (Ssanjaya dinasty).

  • Malioboro

Malioboro or Maliabara is name of area located in the center of Jogjakarta. This area also known as shopping center for local or tourist in Jogjakarta. There are a lot of street vendors selling batik, souvenirs and street foods. Besides as a shopping center, Malioboro also has a lot of tourism place, such as Bring harjo market, Vrederburg Museum, Zero Kilometer and Museum Sonobudoyo.


Day 2

  • Sultan’s Palace’s

Sultan’s Palace was founded by Sultan Hamengku Buwono I in 1755. Physically, the palace has seven core complexes, namely Siti Hinggil Ler, Kamandungan Ler, Sri Manganti, Kedhaton, Kamagangan, Kamandhungan Kidul, and Siti Hinggil Kidul. It also has various cultural heritages, such as traditional ceremonies and historic objects. This palace also symbols of local people identity in Jogjakarta, and the Sultan as their king.

  • Taman Sari or Water

This place located in the south of the palace. The buildings are very unique, because it combined several architectural styles, such as Java, China and Europe. The building complex is not incomplete, but still leaves the main building. The main function of the water castle is the resting place for Sultan (King of Yogyakarta) and family. Therefore, in this area is found swimming baths, bedrooms, mosque, and many more. Why is called water castle? Because Taman Sari uniquely designed with surrounded by artificial lake. In addition, the building complex also served as a bulwark. So, if the palace was attacked by enemy, the Sultan and family can save themselves through underground passage. But it has been closed and does not working like before.

  • Borobudur Temple

Temple of Borobudur is located at Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The location is approximately 40 kilometers northwest of Yogyakarta.  The stupa shaped temple was built by the Mahayana Buddhists around the 800s AD, during the reign of the Sailendra dynasty. Since the 14th century, the temple was no longer used after being burred volcanic ash. The temple was re-discovered in 1814. Currently, its surface covered with tress and shrubs. Excavation of the temple was completed in 1835. Then the restoration continued until 1963. The Indonesian government and UNESCO in cooperation renovated back. Although it has become a tourist attraction, but the temple still has a sacred value. Waicak festivals (Buddhist holy day) is always held in this temple. Buddhist throughout Indonesia and abroad flock to the temple area to celebrate the holy day.

Day 3

  • Lawang Sewu

This building was built by Dutch in 1904 as an official office for Nederlands-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij atau NIS. Lawang sewu was named by local people because the number of doors and windows are a lot. Since 2011 lawang Sewu was open as museum for public to the history of train development in java since dutch era.  

  • Sam Po Kong

Sam Po Kong Temple or Klenteng Sam Po Kong is one of historical place located in Semarang town. This Place was built in 1724 by a muslim admiral called Cheng Ho from Ming Dynasti in China. Cheng Ho sailing from china to spread a peace mission around the world. He stop over Semarang during His expedition because some of his ship’s crew get sick. Than during that time, in the place called simongan, they build a mosque and a place to stay. Now days, this place popular as Klenteng Sam Po Kong and opened for public who interested to see the history of Admiral Cheng ho and his people in Semarang at the time.

  • Kota lama

Kota lama semarang was  built in 17 century by dutch and it was designed like any other building in Europa at that time. This also can be seen from ornament details, windows and doors design that identical with European architecture at the same time. Last year in 2019, the area was fully renovated and than use as one of tourism destination in Semarang town. Besides tourism, this place also usually use as photography background, for those people who loves classic setting.
