Prambanan temple

Bromo overland- This temple is a biggest Hinduism temple located in Central java Indonesia and 15 km distance from city center of Yogyakarta. Prambanan Temple had been recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site since 1991. It is the largest, and grandest Hindu temple in Indonesia. Prambanan is included as the most beautiful temple in Southeast Asia, because the uniqueness of the architecture. The construction of temple began in 9th century. Restoration had been started since 1918. Some buildings have collapsed, but you still can enjoy the beauty of Prambanan Temple.

Malioboro

Malioboro or Maliabara is name of area located in the center of Yogyakarta. This area also known as shopping center for local or tourist in Yogyakarta. There ara a lot of street vendors selling batik, souvenirs and street foods. Besides as a shopping center, Malioboro also has a lot of tourism place, such as Bring harjo market, Vrederburg Museum, Zero Kilometer and Museum Sonobudoyo.

Day 2

Borobudur sunrise

Temple of Borobudur is located at Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The location is approximately 40 kilometres northwest of Yogyakarta. The stupa shaped temple was built by the Mahayana Buddhists around the 80s AD, during the reign of the Sailendra dynasty. Since the 14th century, the temple was no longer used after being burred volcanic ash. The temple was re-discovered in 1814. Currently, its surface covered with tress and shrubs. Excavation of the temple was completed in 1835. Then the restoration continued until 1963. The Indonesian government and UNESCO in cooperation renovated back.

Enjoy the sunrise in the temple. If you want to watch the golden sunrise, you should come at dawn. Because the entrance ticket to the spot is different from general visitors. Tourists will receive Batik cloth as an identity during the area of Borobudur temple. The guide will show you the best spot to enjoy the most beautiful sunrise.

Morning coffee at Manohara Hotel. The best sunrise spot in Borobudur temple area is in Manohara Hotel. You will stay at this hotel, so you feel more comfortable to welcome the rising of the sun. After enjoying the beauty of sunrise, you can get breakfast and a cup of hot coffee.

Visit Pawon and Mendut temple. The location of Pawon temple and Mendut temple are very close to Borobudur temple. Usually tourists will visit the three temples. Each temple has its own uniqueness. Sultan’s Palace

In the morning after check out from Hotel, your guide and driver will drive you to Sultan’s Palace. This palce was built in 1755 by pangeran Mangkubumi. Physically, the palace has seven core complexes, namely Siti Hinggil Ler, Kamandungan Ler, Sri Manganti, Kedhaton, Kamagangan, Kamandhungan Kidul, and Siti Hinggil Kidul. It also has various cultural heritages, such as traditional ceremonies and historic objects. This Palace is a cultural heritage that is protected by government. Merapi volcano tour

Drive to Merapi to take Jeep for Lava trip. Tourists are invited to ride Jeep along the former lava flow after the eruption of Merapi vulcano. Along the way, you will be accompany to visit several post eruption destinations, such as Museum of Sisa Hartaku, and Kaliadem Bunker. The tour is divided into three routes, namely short (1.5 hours), medium (2.5 hours), and long (4-5 hours).

Day 3

Experience the Local Train in the Third Day of this Bromo Overland Tour

Travel to East Java by Train on the third day of your tour, our guide will pick up you from hotel then travel to Mojokokerto by train (the journey by train will take 4 hours 30 minutes). The driver will be waiting for you in Mojokerto train station, then continue to the restaurant. Estimation time from Lunch place to your hotel around brom is 2 hours, and then free time.

Bromo
